Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using IdleBench (the "Service"), including the CLI tool, web application, and API, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

IdleBench is a compute verification and benchmarking tool for providers listing resources on IDLE Protocol. The Service runs local hardware checks on the provider's own machine and publishes a signed benchmark report.

IdleBench is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of IDLE Protocol.

3. Use of the CLI

The CLI runs on your own hardware. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (wallet address, resource name, resource type). You must not submit fraudulent or fabricated benchmark data.

The CLI never requests private keys, seed phrases, or any sensitive credentials. Any tool claiming to be IdleBench that asks for private keys should be treated as malicious.

4. Public reports

Benchmark reports uploaded through the CLI are stored and displayed publicly on IdleBench. By uploading a report, you grant IdleBench a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display the report data.

Reports are identified by your Solana public key. Do not upload reports containing personal information beyond your public wallet address.

5. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Submit fabricated or manipulated benchmark data
  • Attempt to abuse or overload the API
  • Reverse-engineer the scoring model to game results
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate another provider or wallet address

6. Accuracy of scores

Scores and grades are computed automatically from hardware checks. IdleBench does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any score. Buyers should use scores as one signal among many — not as a sole basis for routing workloads.

7. Service availability

IdleBench is provided "as is" without warranty. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or data retention. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdleBench shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on benchmark scores.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
